Canadian Mint to issue $4 Tyrannosaurus commemorative coin

Product site

If this went into circulation as a $4 coin, I would move to Canada. It's a shame that it's only a commemorative piece (and one with a hefty pricetag of $43). Rather than 99.99% pure silver, they should circulate this like they do with the current $2 coin, using standard materials in its production.

But hey, they're better than state quarters.

Credit goes to Geekologie for the discovery.
